Reading the User Manual

Setting up the Machine

The second step in using a Bella coffee maker is to ensure that water levels are past the minimum line level and not beyond the maximum. The following steps are to be followed;

1. Lift the coffee maker lid and pour water into the reservoir past the minimum line level
2. Place the empty carafe on the warming plate
3. Put the desired filter in the removable filter holder
4. Add the required amount of ground coffee
5. Close the lid
6. Plug it into a 120V/60HZ power source
7. Once the background indicator is illuminated, press the start button
8. Once the brewing process is complete, wait for 60 seconds before serving
9. To turn the coffee maker off, press and hold the start button

Setting the Clock

1. To select the Hour, press the HR button and hold to toggle
2. To select the MIN, press the MIN button and hold to toggle
3. Press SEL to authenticate the time

Selecting the Brew Strength

For a regular brew session press MODE once and then the SEL button for confirmation before pressing the START button. For Gourmet strength, press Mode twice and then SEL to confirm before pressing the START button. For a bold strength, press MODE three times, SEL once and then START button to brew.
