Welcome coffee lovers! Are you tired of drinking the same old boring coffee day in and day out? Are you looking for a new and exciting coffee experience? Well, look no further because in this blog post, we’ll be taking a deep dive into two of the hottest coffee brands on the market: Alpha Coffee and Black Rifle Coffee.

I know, I know, you’re probably thinking “wow, another coffee blog post? How original.” But trust me, this one is different. This isn’t your average “coffee snobs” comparing beans and brewing methods, this is a battle of the badasses. Alpha Coffee vs Black Rifle Coffee. This is like a cage match, but instead of fighters, we have coffee beans. And instead of a cage, we have a coffee mug. And instead of a crowd cheering, it’s just me in my pajamas at my kitchen table. But you get the point.

So grab your coffee mug, sit back, and prepare to be entertained (or at least mildly amused) as we compare these two coffee giants.

History and Background

Alpha Coffee, founded in 2015, is a small, family-owned business based in the Pacific Northwest. According to their website, they source their beans from small farms around the world and hand-roast them in small batches to ensure maximum flavor and freshness. The company prides itself on its commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.

Black Rifle Coffee, on the other hand, was founded in 2014 by a group of veterans. They also source their beans from small farms around the world, but they focus on providing coffee for the “American patriot.” Their website is filled with patriotic slogans and images of guns, which I guess is supposed to make me feel more patriotic while I drink my coffee? I don’t know, but it’s certainly different.

Product Offerings

When it comes to product offerings, both companies have a wide variety of coffee blends to choose from. Alpha Coffee offers a range of single origin beans and blends, including a “Rainforest Alliance” certified blend and a “Women’s Co-op” blend. They also offer flavored coffee, which I’m not a huge fan of but I know some people are.

Black Rifle Coffee, on the other hand, has a more limited selection of blends, but they do offer a “Caffeine and Combat” blend, which I can only assume is for those mornings when you need that extra kick to take on the day (or maybe the zombie?). They also offer a “Silencer Smooth” blend, which I assume is for those who like their coffee like they like their guns: quiet.

Sustainability and Ethical Practices

Both companies claim to have a commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing practices, but there are some notable differences. Alpha Coffee is a certified B Corporation, which means they have been certified to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. They also have a “Rainforest Alliance” certified blend and a “Women’s Co-op” blend, which shows they are taking steps to support marginalized communities.

Black Rifle Coffee, on the other hand, doesn’t have any certifications or specific blends that focus on sustainability or ethical practices. However, they do have a section on their website dedicated to “Giving Back” where they mention that they donate a portion of their profits to veterans and first responders.

Community Involvement and Philanthropy

Both companies are also involved in community outreach and philanthropy, but again, there are some differences. Alpha Coffee has a “Community” page on their website where they highlight the various local organizations and charities they support. They also have a “Community Ro

ish” program where customers can nominate a local charity to receive a portion of their sales.

Black Rifle Coffee has a “Giving Back” page on their website where they mention their support for veterans and first responders through donations and partnerships. They also have a “Veterans Roast” program where they employ and train veterans in the coffee roasting process.

Customer Reviews and Feedback

When it comes to customer reviews, both companies have mostly positive feedback with a few negative reviews here and there. Alpha Coffee customers rave about the freshness and taste of the coffee, with many praising the company’s commitment to sustainability and ethical practices. On the other hand, Black Rifle Coffee customers rave about the bold taste of the coffee and the company’s support for veterans.

So, who wins the battle of the badasses? Well, it really depends on what you’re looking for in a coffee brand. If you’re looking for a company that is committed to sustainability and ethical practices, then Alpha Coffee is the clear winner. But if you’re looking for a company that supports veterans and has a bold, in-your-face style, then Black Rifle Coffee is the one for you.

Personally, I’ll be sticking to my plain old boring coffee. But if you’re feeling adventurous, go out and try some Alpha Coffee or Black Rifle Coffee and let me know which one you like better. Just don’t expect me to be impressed by your newfound coffee expertise.
